Josh Weiss, President of Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence, told Southern Finance Omnimedia Corp. thatChina still represents the single largest manufacturing economy in the world.

Over the past few years, Weiss has seen an evolution. “Traditionally, it's been around taking the best in class technology globally and importing it into China and localizing it for Chinese customers,” he added. “Not only that strategy is still taking hold, but China itself is emerging rapidly as an Ramp;D innovation center.”
